Stage Fright is a 1950 thiller film American-directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Jane Wyman, Marlene Dietrich, Michael Wilding, Richard Tood and Alasair Sim.


On the run from the police for a murder of his lover's husband, a young man enlists the help of his friend, Eve, who hides him with her parents while investigating the case on her own.

Set in London, the cast is made up completely of European actors (with the exception of Jane Wyman).

The song "Laziest Girl in Town" was later performed by Marlene Dietrich in several of her concerts.
